Built in 1860, our home is has period charm including old glass on the enclosed porch (a favorite place to sit), and quirks of the period such as steep stairs. There is both a TV room (with cable) and living room - so plenty of space for everyone to relax. The backyard includes a spacious patio area within the large yard (please note the garage is not included in the rental). We have made room for you in the dressers and closets, but since this is our home, you will find some of our treasures throughout the house.

This has been our home over the last 10 years, where we have been raising our son. We love the house and the location, and want other to enjoy it while we are taking advantage of an opportunity to live in Vermont. While sitting on the front porch, you will see neighbors walking to the library, coffee shop, and park (all around the corner). The train station is nearby and can shuttle you to Boston or neighboring Salem.

If you have never been to the North Shore of Boston, you are in for a treat. The beaches are wonderful, but so is the art and culture. Among our favorite spots are the Cape Ann Museum in Gloucester and the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem. If you are interested in live performances, make sure to checkout what is happening at the North Shore Music Theater and the Cabot Theater, both right here in Beverly.
