Walk across the street from the front door and you're IN the park - which boasts many beautiful trails year-round (groomed for tracked cross country skiing) as well as the iconic walking bridge over the St Louis river. The paved Munger bike trail - 400m away - leads across a revived railroad bridge into Carlton for bookstore browsing, a coffee or ice cream, or a delicious meal at the StreetCar restaurant. Spirit Mountain and West Duluth are 15 minutes away via I35, where many more delicious restaurants, breweries and recreation opportunities await. Back in the Jay Cooke neighborhood you'll find a pickleball court, an apple orchard, and basketball court a block away - there really is something for everyone!
