NO GLITTER/NO DYE: Glitter is almost impossible to remove and will result in a $1,000 fine to cover excess cleaning. Do not use any temporary or permanent hair dye or other dye products in the rental. Evidence of dye will result in a $500 fine or more if damage occurs to sink, floors, carpets, etc. Primary contact is responsible for all guests along with anyone who enters the home during the stay to abide by these rules.
No Smoking of any Kind: Smoking of any kind will result is a $750 additional cleaning and Ozone fee. This includes, but is not limited to vaping, cigarettes, marijuana, or any other form of smoking.
We do weekly pool maintenance, but cannot control weather or debris. While we strive for cleanliness, we can't guarantee a debris-free pool. Rest assured, we're dedicated to keeping the pool in top condition.
We have a security camera doorbell that detects and videos upon motion or sound.
Upon booking, we may require a copy of the lead guest’s drivers license and rental agreement.
We have a smart thermostat that regulates the temperature - it can be manually changed, but note that our threshold is from 70-78F.
Florida is subject to hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical storms, water spouts, other high-wind events, and acts of God.
BOOKINGS YET TO BEGIN
They are RARE, but, if, at any time, our property is under a tropical storm/hurricane watch, where the National Weather Service (NWS) published hurricane “incidence cone” remains focused on our geographic region, with projections of a category strength of CAT 1, or more, forty-eight (48) hours prior to your booking, we will attempt to contact you to notify you that we are cancelling your booking. We HIGHLY recommend purchasing travel insurance in the event that a weather event happens and your stay cannot start or is interrupted, as no refunds will be granted for impending or unfortunate weather.
ACTIVE STAYS
If you are staying with us when a Tropical Storm/Hurricane Watch is announced by the NWS, we will advise you to curtail your stay, and make arrangements to leave the area.
If the storm, in the estimation of the NWS, has the potential to reach a level of Category 1, or greater, in our area, you agree to depart the premises, when requested by our staff, or the authorities.
You are responsible for your own safety, and evacuation/transportation plans, in such a circumstance. We will offer you a pro-rata refund of your stay, for the remaining days in keeping with the Airbnb Extenuating Circumstances Policy.
Weather-related communications outages may impact our ability to contact you. We will make every effort to connect with you, and resolve your reservation situation.
