Inside you will find a very large living room / great room next to the spacious coastal kitchen with granite counter-tops and the dining room, all with volume ceilings. The kitchen is loaded with dinnerware, cookware and entertaining extras to make vacation meals fun and easy.
The large private pool is screened and yet surrounded by lush tropical landscaping. The pool is heated in the winter months and there is no charge for heating. Relax and unwind on one of the 6 lounge chairs by the pool. Or, after grilling your steaks, enjoy a tropical meal at the poolside dining table.
There is a double hammock under the lush palm trees to indulge yourself in some personal quiet time, or if you prefer, there are four beach bikes that our guests may use free of charge to explore this quiet island. Our Palm Island beaches are virtually private and have the best shell collecting in Florida due to our Gulf coast location and no crowds! The Silver Palm home sits on a large double waterfront lot that has an abundant variety of palm trees and citrus trees. Landscaping is one of our passions, and our goal is to make you feel like you are in a tropical paradise while on vacation! Enjoy panoramic views of the quiet inshore waters and breathtaking sunrises from the deck or dock while sipping on your coffee in the morning and remembering what it feels like to simply be 'relaxed'. The ospreys and seagulls will sing to you their morning calls as the harbor wakes up and invites you outside.
The owner, 'Blake' is passionate about saltwater fishing and is quite willing to share all his fishing tips and experience as well as 'fishing hole' locations to the guests so that they too can 'catch a fun memory!' Our guests enjoy free use of the two double fishing kayaks during their stay. It is a great way to get on the protected inshore waters behind the home and try your hand at catching Sea Trout, Snook, Redfish, and more, or to just enjoy a quiet paddle in the protected harbor or the State Park waters next to us. The kayak is a favorite outing for the kids and adults!
